How to Uncheck "Encrypt iPhone backup" with Password?


If there are no issues and you know the password required to disable iPhone backup encryption, then unchecking the "Encrypt iPhone backup" is a quite straightforward process.


Connect your iPhone to your computer via lightning cable. Then launch iTunes and make sure it detects your connected iPhone.


Now in iTunes, click your iPhone and navigate to the Summary section via the left-hand pane.


Next, navigate to Backups section and find and uncheck the checkbox called Encrypt iPhone backup.


Now input the required password and click on OK.
